Namayinday naye Khalifa ki azm aur itminan se hairan ho gaii, jo apni majmuaat ki kamzori se bilkul be-khabar lagte thay. Aur unhon ne unhein aik din diya tha! Lekin Zhu Qissa ke irtiadi namayinday, Madinah chhodne se pehle, Madinah ka achha taur se jaiza liya aur unki tez nazar ne Madinah mei jangjuon ki kami dekh li thi. Jab woh Zhu Qissa wapis gaii, to unhon ne apne humqaydaon ko Abu Bakr ke saath apni guftagu ke bare mei bataya aur Madinah ki kamzor haalat ke bare mei bhi bataya. Zhu Qissa ka qabza 30 July 632 (8th Jamadi-ul-Awwal, 11 Hijri) ke aas paas hua. Hazrat Abu Bakr ne Hazrat Numan bin Muqaran ko ek chhoti taqat de kar Zhu Qissa ka defense sambhalne ke liye chhorha, aur baqi apni force ke saath Madinah wapas aagaye. 2 August ko Usama ki army Madinah wapas aayi; Islam ka capital ab khatra mei nahi tha.

Ab muslmon ke liye baatein behtar ho gayi thi. Hazrat Abu Bakr ki recent jeet ne, jo decisive nahi thi, unke hoslay barhaye. Kuch apostate tribes jo Madinah ke qareeb rehti thi, unho ne tauba ki aur Islam ko dobara apna liya aur apne taxes diye.

Unhone Hazrat Usama ko Madinah mei apny faujiyon ko rest karne aur capital ki hifazat karne ka hukm diya. Apni khud ki taqat bhi, jo unhone jaldi jaldi tayar ki thi, woh ab aik puri army ban gayi thi, aur ab unhone faisla kiya ke woh iss taqat ko istemal karay ga, jab tak Hazrat Usama ki army rest kar rahi hai aur re-equip ho rahi hai, aur woh apostates ke against Abraq mei offensive jang ke liye taiyar ho ga.
Jab Hazrat Abu Bakr ne announce kiya ke woh apni army ko Abraq le kar jayenge, Muslim elders ne unhe rokne ki koshish ki. "Allah aapko khush rakhay, O Messenger of Allah ke Khalifah!" unhone kaha. "Apne aap ko khatra mei mat daalna. Agar aap maar gaii to cheezen bekaar ho sakti hain. Aapki mojoodgi hi kafiron ke liye pareshani ka sabab hai. Kisi aur ko army ka commander bana do. Agar woh maar jaye to aap doosray ko taayun kar sakte hain."
Hazrat Abu Bakr thodi der mei muslmanon ke kandhon par bohot bara bojh dalne wale thay. Woh chahtay thay ke unke log unki umeed se bhi zyada jang mei apni poori koshish karein aur woh har mushkilat ka samna karen jo ek jang mei ho sakti thi. Unhone socha ke yeh sab unko apni umeed par le aane ka behtareen tareeqa hai ke woh khud is jang ka samna karein.

"No, by Allah!" unhone ne jawab diya. "Main yeh nahi karunga. Main apne bojh ka bojh doosron par nahi dalunga."
Aur isi tarah Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) apni chhoti si fauj ke sath Zhu Qissa ke liye nikal gaii, jahan Numan unka intezar kar raha tha. Zhu Qissa par Hazrat Abu Bakr ne Numan aur uske bhaiyon ko fauj ke dono janahon aur rear guard ka zimma diya, bilkul usi tarah jaise unhone pehle raat ke hamle mein kiya tha, aur Abraq ke liye rawana ho gaye. Ab August ka doosra hafta (Jamadi-ul-Awwal ka teesra hafta) chal raha tha.
Jab Musalman Abraq pahunche to unhone dekha ke dushman pehle hi jang ke liye taiyyar tha. Bagair kisi dair ke Hazrat Abu Bakr ne apni fauj ko saf bandi ka hukm diya aur murtado par hamla kar diya.

Agle din Hazrat Abu Bakr Abraq se Madinah ke liye rawana ho gaii. Madinah pahunchnay par unhone kuch din riyasat ke mamlaat ko dekhne mei guzare; phir wo Hazrat Usama ki fauj ke sath Zhu Qissa chale gaii. Lekin ab yeh Hazrat Usama ki fauj nahi rahi thi, kyun ke Hazrat Usama apna kaam mukammal kar chuke the aur unki fauj ab "Fauj-e-Islam" ban chuki thi, jo Khalifa ke irshad ke mutabiq istemal ki jati.
Zhu Qissa mei Hazrat Abu Bakr ne Fauj-e-Islam ko alag alag corps mei tanzeem kiya, taa ke alag alag dushmanon se nimta ja sake, jo tamam Arab ke zameen par faile hue the, siwaye us chhoti si jagah ke jo abhi Musalmanon ke qabze mei thi. Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl: Musailma se Yamamah mein rabta karein lekin mohim tab tak shuru na karein jab tak mazeed fauj na bheji jaye.
Amr bin Al Aas: Qabil-e-murtad Quza’a aur Wadi’a in Tabuk aur Daumat-ul-Jandal ke ilaqon mein.
Shurahbil bin Hasanah: Ikrimah ka pichha karein aur Khalifa ke instructions ka intezar karein.
Khalid bin Saeed: Syria ki sarhad par kuch murtad qabail ke saath.
Turaifa bin Hajiz: Hawazin aur Bani Sulaim ke murtad qabail jo Madinah aur Makkah ke mashriqi ilaqe mein hain.
Ala bin Al Hadhrami: Bahrain ke murtad.
Hudhaifa bin Mihsan: Oman ke murtad.
Arfaja bin Harsama: Mahra ke murtad.
Muhajir bin Abi Umayyah: Yemen ke murtad aur phir Hadhramaut ke Kinda qabail.
Suwaid bin Muqaran: Yemen ke qareebi coastal ilaqon ke murtad.
Jab corps ki tanzeem mukammal hui, Hazrat Khalid (RA) ne march shuru kiya, aur kuch waqt baad Ikrimah aur Amr bin Al Aas bhi gaii. Dusre corps ko Khalifa ne roka aur unka bhejna Hazrat Khalid ke operations ke progress par mabni tha jo asal dushman ki mukhalfat ke sakhth dushman ke saath tha.
Zhu Qissa se mukhtalif corps ke chhute se pehle, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) ne sab murtad qabail ke paas apne safir bheje taa ke aakhri baar unhe raah-e-raast par le aane ki koshish ki ja sake. Un safiron ko yeh instructions di gayi:
Qabail se Islam mein wapas aane aur puri itaat karne ka kehna.
Jo qabail tasleem kar lein unhe maafi aur aman milega.
Jo qabail mukhalfat karein unka muqabla kiya jaega jab tak unka mukhalfat khatam na ho jaye aur unki auraton aur bachon ko ghulam banaya ja sake.
Kisi bhi qabail ke khilaf hamla karne se pehle azaan di jayegi, agar qabail azaan ka jawab de to tasleem samjha jayega.
Commanders ko yeh aam hidaayaat bhi di gayi:
Apne maqsood qabail ki talaash karo.
Azaan do.
Agar qabail azaan ka jawab de to hamla na karo. Azaan ke baad unse tasleem aur taxes ka tasdeeq maango. Agar tasdeeq ho jaye to hamla na karo.
Jo tasleem karein unhe tang na karo.
Jo azaan ka jawab na dein ya tasdeeq na dein, unka muqabla talwar aur aag ke saath karo.
Jo murtad Musalmanon ko qatal karein unhe qatal karo, jo Musalmanon ko jala kar maaren unhe jala kar maaro.
Is tarah Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA), jo pehle narm mizaj aur farmabardaar Companion the, ne Islam ki faujon ko murtadon ke khilaf bhej diya.
Note: Lafz 'corps' ko yahan ek dheelay ma'no mein istemal kiya gaya hai jo ek mustaqil tactical command ko zahir karta hai. Ye corps jadeed fauj ke corps jo taqreeban teen divisions par mushtamil hotay hain, unse tanzeemati tor par koi mushabihat nahi rakhte.
Murtad ka matlab hai:
Woh shakhs jo Islam Qabool karne ke baad uska inkaar kar de ya Islam chhorh kar kisi aur deen ya aqeede ko apna le. Isay deen se phirne wala ya islam sy phirney waly bhi kaha jata hai.
Islamic terminology mein, murtad par qanooni aur shar'i nuktah (point) nazar se mukhtalif qaydain aur sazaen lagti hain, jo us shaks ke amal aur niyyat par mabni hoti hain.
