Our environmental group

In my school, we've created an environmental group that's called “The green serpents”. We will help in different campaigns about the environment.

We made a contest with all the students of 2º drawing an image that we would like to be our logo. The winning logo was drawn by Maria Caballero in class 2º D.

WHAT WE DO AT SCHOOL TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT

At school, we do a lot of things to help the environment. Here are some examples:

  • You can't bring any type of plastic unless you can reuse it.

  • You can't bring aluminium foil.

  • There are different types of bins to put each thing in the correct one.

Cycle lane

Recently they made a cycle lane that passes through the entire city and will be inaugurated on October 22, 2021. It takes place mainly in Avinguda de Roma, but you can find it in other streets of Manlleu as it is shown in the map down below the picture of the cycle lane.

The green delegates of our school made a Kahoot with questions about the environment, recycling… and the winner could go cycling with the green delegates on the bike path. I won the contest, but I didn't want to go cycling, so I gave the class delegate the opportunity.
