Purpose/目的

This program provides an opportunity to learn a language and culture and to enhance the understanding of each other through communication with a partner, during the time when students’ traveling abroad is restricted.

渡航を伴う海外留学が困難となる中、マッチングされたパートナーとの会話を通してそれぞれの言語や文化を学び理解を深め合う機会を提供します。

Activity/活動内容

• You will have 1:1 online interaction with your partner in two languages.

• You will basically have a session for 30 minutes in each language every week.

• You and your partner can decide which communication platform (e.g. Zoom/Skype) suits you best for the sessions.

• The pair (Buddies) can freely decide dates/times of the activity.

• マッチングされたパートナーと１対１でそれぞれの学習言語を用いオンラインで会話をおこないます。

• セッションは週に１度、各言語３０分ずつを基本とします。

• セッションで話す内容やツールの指定はありません。ZoomやSkypeなどお互いの使いやすいツールを用いてください。

• 活動日／時間は、ペアで自由に決めることができます。

Matching/マッチングの流れ

• We will match you with another student based on the application forms.

• You will receive an e-mail to start sessions once we have found your partner.

• You will be put on a waiting list if we cannot find you a partner immediately. You will receive an e-mail about re-matching when available.

• Students from both sides have to try to be actively involved in the program in order to establish a good relationship with their partner.

• 応募フォームの内容をもとにマッチングをおこないます。

• マッチングが成立した学生には、パートナーの紹介と活動開始の案内をメールで配信します。

• マッチングが成立しなかった学生には、Waiting Listで管理され、今後の追加マッチングについての案内をメールで配信します。

• マッチングが成立した後、活発な交流をおこなうためには双方の努力も必要です。はじめは知らない人同士意思の疎通が難しい場面もあるかもしれませんが積極的に行動しましょう。
