Psychiatric Consultations

ICU Counseling Center provides psychiatric consultation every Tuesday (9:30am to 12pm) except for national holidays and during the university recess.  Please note that the psychiatric appointment is conducted only in Japanese; if you cannot communicate in Japanese on your own, we will offer information on off-campus medical resources you can use in English.  

In order to schedule an appointment, please fill out the intake form by clicking here.  Please thoroughly read the instructions and terms of services before applying.  If this is your first time visiting the university psychiatrist, or it has been more than a year since your last visit, please schedule an appointment with our counselor first.

Deadline for applying for a psychiatric appointment is 12PM of the last business day before the Tuesday you would like to be seen.　For instance, when Monday is a national holiday and the center is closed, you need to send us the form by noon of Friday of the previous week.  All the applications we receive after the deadline will be forwarded to the following week.  Depending on the crowdedness of the appointments for the week, we may not be able to schedule you an appointment at your preferred time.  We recommend you apply for an appointment well in advance.
