Ms. Lauren Frey
Ms. Lauren Frey
Lauren Frey is in her 12th year of teaching middle school orchestra and currently serves as the 7th and 8th grade orchestra director at John C. Dempsey Middle School in Delaware, Ohio. She co-directs the Dempsey Players orchestra, an extracurricular honor orchestra that has recently earned superior ratings at Ohio Music Education Association Solo and Ensemble Contest and other festival competitions.
Mrs. Frey is a certified Suzuki cello instructor and cellist with the Central Ohio Symphony. Before her current role, she taught middle and high school orchestra in Richmond, Indiana. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Kent State University and a Master of Music Education from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
