Coaching
Coaching provides a collaborative approach to personalized professional development that is teacher driven and initiated. Through instructional coaching, our goal is to strengthen and expand best classroom practices, empower educators in their professional growth, and enhance student learning and success in all schools throughout the region.
How can the coaches support you?
Coaching cycles provide opportunities to address:
short term goals or instructional needs and together formulate a plan to implement best practices.
long term goals and broader instructional needs that address school improvement initiatives or individual classroom teacher professional development.
student growth goals to foster ownership and empower learners in their educational journey.

Content Specific Resources- websites and apps: multi-content curriculum, ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Health, CTE, and Music.
Teacher Tools- websites and apps for classroom management, student polling/response, assessments & assignments, podcasts & blogs, Smart TVs, and student creation tools.
Library- Your IMESD instructional coaches have collected a variety of professional development books over their combined 50+ years of teaching. And we are excited to share those books with you.
Sora- Digital IMESD component district library- has a section for PD books that are both ebooks and audio books.
