Welcome to the Oregon Trail REN Mentor Program. Our goal is to offer the tools, resources, and training that are needed for each district to support their beginning teachers at the highest level. We look forward to working with you as you take on the role of of a mentor.
The collaborative nature of our program is designed to help mentors gain professional knowledge from training and resources AND from the expertise and experience of other mentors in our region.

Mentor Program Mission: To provide a framework for mentoring and create a network of support for mentors with the goal of retaining growth-focused teachers.
Mentor Program Vision: Mentors will effectively and routinely coach adult learners to strive for the success of every child.
Anyone in the OTREN region is welcome to join the Mentor Huddles for training. The mentor compensation is ONLY available to mentors whose school districts have opted into the program.
Program commitment includes attending a Foundations Training at one of the following locations.
