Topic Overview: Students will identifyand explain how forces act on objects using real world-world applications.
TEKS:
6.7A: The student is expected to identify and explain how forces act on objects, including gravity, friction, magnetism, applied forces, and normal forces, using real-world applications;

Monday:
Force & Motion Balloon Lab. Student scientists have designed balloons to demonstrate the forces of acceleration, velocity, inertia, centripital, friction and gravity.
Tuesday:
Interim Schedule - Modified class schedules. Savvas: Force and Motion Key Ideas Virtual Lab.
Wednesday:
Interim Schedule - Modified class schedules. PhET "Forces and Motion Basics." Students will follow step by step procedure to better understand balances/unbalanced forces.
Thursday:
Force and Motion. Understanding Vocabulary. Students will demonstrate their understanding of various forces and how they can be applied.
Friday:
Force & Motion Roller Coaster Challenge. Student scientists will monitor and adjust friction, gravity, mass, and speed to successfully complete the course and record the fastest time.
