Watching their growth both on stage and off has been the most rewarding part of this year. Their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones and commit to the process is something they should be incredibly proud of.
Thank you again for your support, encouragement, and trust during my first year. It has meant more than I can put into words. I am so excited for the future of theatre at our campus and cannot wait to continue building on everything we started this year.
With gratitude,
Mr. Villarreal
Dear Parents, Students, and ILTexas Community,
As we come to the end of this school year, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for such an incredible and successful first year in Theatre.
Being a first-year teacher comes with many challenges, and I know at times this class may have felt like a lot new expectations, new skills, and a wide range of theatre concepts all at once. Thank you for trusting me through that process and allowing me the opportunity to grow alongside your students.
I am beyond proud of what our students have accomplished this year. They didn’t just learn how to act, they explored all aspects of theatre, including storytelling, collaboration, technical elements, design, and performance skills. More importantly, they built confidence, creativity, discipline, and teamwork. They took risks, supported one another, and truly embraced what it means to be part of a theatre community.
