This is a 24/7 response line for student, faculty, and staff members abroad. The number first directs callers to the University of Illinois Police Department (UIPD), who then forwards the call to the Office of International Safety and Security.

International Safety + Security (ISS)

supports all students, faculty, and staff 24/7 while they are traveling internationally on university programs or for university business.
manages international insurance for students, faculty, and staff.
provides trainings for faculty/staff leading program abroad.
