Qur'an and Sunnah Studies Students' Association (QUSSA)
The Qur’an and Sunnah Studies Students’ Association (QUSSA) is the official student body representing the students of the Department of Qur’an and Sunnah Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Established to strengthen the bond between students, academics, and the Department, QUSSA serves as a platform for student engagement, leadership development, and academic as well as spiritual enrichment.
QUSSA organizes various programs and activities throughout the year, ranging from academic talks, seminars, and workshops, to community outreach, welfare initiatives, and social events. These activities are designed to nurture well-rounded students who embody the values of knowledge (‘ilm), service (‘amal), and leadership (qiyādah).
By upholding IIUM’s philosophy of Integration, Islamization, Internationalization, and Comprehensive Excellence (IIICE), QUSSA plays an important role in shaping the student experience within the Department. It provides opportunities for students to actively contribute to the development of their peers, the University, and the wider Ummah.
