Dr. Hasan's research focuses on the design and development of advanced steels for structural, rail, aerospace, hydrogen infrastructure and cryogenic applications. He specialises in solid-state phase transformations, deformation-induced phase changes, and CALPHAD-based alloy design. His work has been published in leading journals including Wear, Materials Science & Engineering A, Philosophical Magazine, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A etc with over 500 citations and an h-index of 11.
