Introduction
Three 'hands-on' labs will be conducted working in the identified teams:
measurement and characterization of a Dipole magnet in various orientations as well as computer modelling using simulation tools provided
measurement and characterization of Quadrupole magnet and optional computer modelling, and
measurements of a Pillbox and test RF cavities (both single and coupled.
Lab reports for these will be completed and submitted for grade.
In addition there will be a demonstration session (no lab report or grade) on some of the Instrumentation devices used to measure beam characteristics.
