  • Please turn in labs 3 days after you performed the lab. The first lab will be performed Friday, June 10 and due Wednesday June 15.

  • Only one lab report per group needs to be turned in - it is your option to submit as a group or individually.

    • Include the names of all contributors on the submitted lab report.

    • Please give some thought during the first week to how you can evenly distribute the work load among group members.

    • There will be 7 graded lab reports (4 simulation labs and 3 measurement labs)

    • There will be 2 measurement labs without a graded report - Instrumentation Demo and Beam Measurement Demo

  • Lab intro slides Hands-on (measurements) introduction

  • Some documentation on Python notebooks:

Lab groups:

The class is divided into 4 lab groups. See list below to find your group assignment.

Each group is named after notable figure(s) in the field of accelerator physics. For extra credit, write a brief (1-2 paragraphs) biography on the contributions of your group's namesake(s) to the field and submit to Elvin Harms. Be sure to cite your references - Wikipedia and Google searches are not sufficient!
