As part of the initiative to upgrade the knowledge of the councillors, Geo spatial mapping of child related amenities with several indicators on quality across all the wards of Ahmedabad is being made accessible for them to direct their interventions for better service provision in their ward.
Features of Maps:
- Information on the extent of areas served by the anganwadis and schools in each ward
- Provision of basic infrastructure (electricity, water connections, toilets, and playgrounds) and pupil-teacher ratio has been mapped
- Some of the amenities have also been included in the city level profiles for councillors to be aware of their ward compared to the rest
