We welcomed our project colleagues in the music classroom, which is where our radio station, the main purpose of our Erasmus program, is located.

For this special welcome, we not only listened to a short cello and violin concert, but José Francisco Abadía, the school's director, also dedicated some very special words to us, hoping we would learn a lot and share experiences that would enrich both schools.

For this special welcome, we not only listened to a short cello and violin concert, but José Francisco Abadía, the school's director, also dedicated some very special words to us, hoping we would learn a lot and share experiences that would enrich both schools.

With the collaboration of the English Department, we conducted some learning activities that helped us break the ice a bit.

What did they consist of? Well, we filled in the boxes in a kind of BINGO game with the names of the classmates who matched the questions in the different cartoons.

We had a great time sharing!

After the activities and a little rest, we took a school tour in which we showed them the main places and corners of our center.

Did you know that the center's green areas are irrigated with runoff water pumped by solar panels?

What a tour!

This year, a small group of students from our school participated in a project about the Mauthausen concentration camp. Thanks to this project, they not only learned about the camp and carried out various activities to disseminate their research, but also visited the site accompanied by representatives from a number of countries. 

Of course, they couldn't help but share their experience with the group!

Since we knew you couldn't leave Spain without trying our more than typical paella, we invited you to a delicious paella for this welcome meal.

Well... more than one, two, because there was so much to choose from, depending on your taste.

And how delicious were both! And you... 

Are you more of a meat or seafood person?

As you can see, the day was more than filled, but... we still had to be welcomed by the mayor of Ejea, Teresa Ladrero, who welcomed the group to Ejea in particular and to the Cinco Villas in general.

I'm sure they'll love it so much they'll come back!

Without a doubt... a most beautiful ceremony. And with gifts included, because they gave us tickets to visit and explore the Ejea municipal swimming pools!

With this heat... we'll go tomorrow.

And there was no better way to end the day than with a stroll through Boalares and La Estanca. Without a doubt, two of the most beautiful spots in our town.

And then, time to rest!

How could we possibly work on the Radio and Communication project without visiting the "HOY" magazine editorial office?

And what a visit! Not only did they tell us about the company's history, but they also introduced us to the topic of fake news, which we'll be discussing throughout the morning, a topic that's so important in our daily work.

Finally, a list of ten tips for checking news stories, finding sources, etc., and some gifts from Ejea.

What more could you ask for? A great visit!

And all while playing!

We addressed the topic of FAKE NEWS with a practical activity in which, using a previously explained and detailed template, the students had to discern between news that was fake and those that weren't.

It seems simple, right? Well, it's not that simple, don't believe it! Maybe we made it a little difficult for them...

Well, it may seem strange to you, but... we had to show our project colleagues how we stay cool here when the heat is on, and... What better way than with a balloon fight?

No sooner said than done. And it didn't take them long to learn the game's dynamics! 

Even the teachers got wet!

If there's one thing we're proud of at IES REYES CATÓLICOS, it's our Coexistence Plan. That's probably why we take the opportunity to show it off to our visitors.

After a busy day, we held our famous farewell party, including a diploma presentation for both students and faculty.

We held a fun and delicious tapas competition and listened to and danced to music from both countries.

And of course, we took advantage of the farewell party to present the students and faculty participating in the mobility program with their certificates.
