Each group chooses two obsolete objects (you did it in the task 2) and prepares a live sales pitch as if the objects were a brand new today.
BUT… don´t forget.
First, you must explain how it worked in the past using the three past tenses.
Small groups (2 or 3 students)
Timing: 30 minutos.
Assessment: Rubric on Site or Classroom.
STEP 1 Review Your Object
Look at the sentences you wrote in Task 2 and choose two of them.
STEP 2 Change the Situation
Now, imagine that your old objects are coming back in 2026 and they are the “new trend.” You must present them as if they were modern again.
STEP 3 Add the Comparation
Your presentation must include:
1. Brief explanation of how they were used (past tenses – from the Task).
2. A creative reason why they are “cool again.”
3. A comparison with modern technology.
4. Your opinion: Would teenagers like it/them today?
STEP 4 Choose a Format and Present (about 2 minutes)
Encourage: energy, clear pronunciation and interaction with audience.
