How did people live before modern technology?

Imagine a world where an electromagnetic pulse erases all modern technology, leaving humanity dependent on old, analog tools from the past. These objects are described as “sleeping technology” that can only be revived by understanding how they were used. As Time Engineers and Archaeologists, the mission is to reconnect history by accurately describing past actions and habits using different past tenses. By doing so, obsolete technology can be brought back to life.

Describing Obsolete Objects

Small groups (2 or 3 students)

Timing: 30 minutos.

Assessment: Rubric on Site or Classroom.

Follow the next steps to complete the task:

1º STEP

Choose five objects from the list in the 1st task of the project "Front End". Try to choose from different categories. Copy and paste each object on your site.

2º STEP

Now, for each object, write:

1 sentence in Past Simple (what people did with it)
1 sentence with Used to (a past habit or routine)
1 sentence in Past Continuous (what was happening when it was being used)
