2. The Literature Review: A REQUIREMENT
What is it?
The process of identifying, evaluating and extracting information from secondary sources relating to your topic, with particular emphasis on accepted scholarly sources from academic journals and published papers. It is a required part of the EE process and therefore vital to do well for a high-scoring EE!

3. Making notes
This is an important aspect of the research process, especially when conducting your literature review, and you'll save yourself a lot of time and stress if you take a systematic approach from the start.

You can also use the built-in Google docs tools, including tabs, headings and paragraph styles to organise your notes.
4. CITE AS YOU WRITE!!
Remember to note the citation information about your sources as you go! This will save you time later.

10. WRITE LIKE A BOSS!!
Every paragraph in your essay needs a topic sentence.
The topic sentence expresses what the paragraph is about. It should include two key things:
The topic of the paragraph
The central point of the paragraph.
After the topic sentence, you expand on the point with evidence and examples.
To build a well-structured argument, you can also use your topic sentences to transition smoothly between paragraphs and show the connections between your points.
