Below is the tentative plan for classroom counseling lessons for the 2023/2024 school year. There is a chance the topics could change, and a chance that more classroom lessons could be added based on individual class needs. These topics were chosen based on responses from teachers at the end of last year and on state requirements. 

May: 5th Grade Transition to Middle School

April/May: Career Awareness

March: Following Directions (K-1), Flexible Thinking (2), Preparing for Tests (3-5)

February: Personal Safety

January: Conflict Resolution

November: Regulating Our Emotions (The Zones of Regulation)

October: Bullying Prevention/Being an Upstander

September: Meet the Counselor
