AGM - June 2026
A total of 48 people attended our AGM this year at the Methodist Church Hall in Church Stretton. After the formalities, Mike Carter gave an interesting presentation on the challenges of managing meadows and then led a small number of attendees on a guided walk of High Leasowes. The rest of us stayed behind to enioy the cake!
The 2026 AGM papers (Chair's report and financial report) will shortly be made available on this website.

Dead-hedging - February 2026
A number of work parties have tidied away all the cut timber from one of the pollarded ash trees by creating a dead-hedge near the pond. This looks great and provides useful habitat. Wrens, mice, toads, beetles and butterflies are just some of the multitude of creatures that might make use of this wildlife corridor.
