Spring work programme
We will be arranging several work parties for May to cut back suckering poplars, to weed around the young trees and to tackle bracken and invasive meadow plants.
The first of these will take place on Wednesday 6th May at 10.30am. We will be cutting back suckering poplars and weeding. Please let us know if you plan to come by emailing: highleasowes@gmail.com.
More volunteering opportunities will appear here soon.
2026 AGM
Saturday 6th June 2.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall, Church Stretton. Doors open at 2pm when refreshments will be available.
After the AGM formalities, Mike Carter will discuss our plans and challenges in improving the floral diversity of the meadows.
At the end of the meeting you are invited to join Mike on a guided tour of High Leasowes or to stay behind to chat with other committee members over tea and cake.
Please let us know if you plan to come so that we can make sure to have enough cake! Email: highleasowes@gmail.com
