Where Greed Tramples All
by Danielle Saquing
A made up mythology of earth’s destruction. Following the point of view of a nymph who guards a sacred pearl, meanwhile humanity’s constant greed for the earth’s resources are portrayed through different monsters. When the pearl is suddenly taken, the monsters begin to grow stronger, ravaging and running free throughout the world— causing death and destruction as a consequence.
Red Flags and a Green Forest
by Felicia Boñales
Playing on the idea of toxic relationships— this story puts the reader into the shoes of a “toxic/red flag girlfriend” who doesn’t understand the feelings of their partner that does nothing but love them. Ideally, the actions we commit now will be used similarly to showcase these bad partner traits such as our negligence, physically present but emotionally absent, and plastic (pun intended) personality.
