Upon building a functional and clickable prototype, it is time to test the prototype with the users.
Evaluation Methods
Data Gathering approach
I chose remote-moderated usability testing with the users. Moderated sessions will allow me to see the user's actions and behaviors while they are testing the app. Observing their clicks and navigation through the apps allows me to follow up with the users about why they did or did not click on a specific touchpoint.
The moderated session also helps the user communicate their concerns or ask for clues from the moderator to finish the task. Due to these advantages, I chose moderated sessions over unmoderated sessions.
Users
The prototype was tested with six users. All the participants were assigned names P1 through P6 to protect their privacy.
age, race, ethnicity, gender, marital status, income, education, and employment.
