You can share your work with your teachers through the SeeSaw app using the home learning passwords that were sent home, please email your teacher if you have not received this. If you would like to access reading resources, Scholastic are providing a range of resources for all ages and abilities and Teach Your Monster To Read is a great app for early readers to practice their reading.
We here at Ynysboeth are committed to developing your child's reading skills. We've been encouraging the children at access the free ebooks on the Oxford Owl Home website and as this has proven so popular, we as a school have purchased a full subscription to the Oxford Owl website. This means that children can now access 550 quality fiction and non-fiction ebooks that are linked to the reading books your child reads in school and brings home with them weekly.
We will be texting you with the book stage your child is reading by text message - if you don't receive one, please contact the school. The ebooks can be accessed on smartphones, tablets, laptops and home computers - any device with an internet connection!
