Welcome to St Francis Catholic Primary School where we aim to provide a happy, caring school, well established within the community, where high standards are expected and a firm foundation is developed to support your child’s future learning.

St Francis is a Catholic Primary School in which every individual grows in the knowledge and love of Christ. In partnership with parents and the whole community, our purpose is to provide a high standard of education, giving the maximum opportunity to realise each person's potential. We aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that is safe, inspiring and inclusive. Pupils will succeed in becoming literate, numerate, whilst also developing a love of learning through curiosity and challenge. We will nurture every child to become responsible, considerate, caring individuals, whilst taking with them life-long memories.

Parents play a large part in the life of the school and are generally very supportive of its activities. The staff, both teaching and non-teaching, work together as a dedicated team and the school’s present development is the latest stage in the growth of an educational establishment with a rich spiritual and academic heritage. Together with parents, teaching staff and our parish community, we aim to work together in partnership for the mutual benefit of all children in St Francis’ School.
