A general Welsh display in classroom
The reception area reflects a contemporary vision of Wales
We worked as a whole team to create a welcoming display in our foyer based on our local community.
Welsh is prominently displayed around the classroom e.g. * welcome poster on door, * the majority of areas are named in Welsh, * the majority of materials are labelled in Welsh
The majority of areas inside and outside of the school have Welsh / Bilingual signage
We have a variety of Welsh/Bilingual signs around the school.
School holds a competition to design a "Croeso" poster which will be displayed around the school
Children were asked to design a Croeso poster as part of our February half term homework tasks. Teachers and Criw Cymraeg will judge the competition and display the winners around the school.
School's progress in Language Charter's Bronze Award is clearly displayed
A Welsh display outside one of the classrooms
An element of Welsh at an appropriate level is visible on other classroom subject displays
We use Welsh to check in each morning.
Criw Cymraeg contribute to the school's newsletter reporting on the school's progress with the Language Charter
Welsh is prominent on the school website e.g. *Welsh signage on school website, *Links to online activities for parents and children
