"Throughout my time in Ysgol Y Strade, I am very proud to say that I have received many valuable opportunities and experiences. I have been on a number of excursions, for both academic and sports reasons, and I feel this has really helped me with my studies. As a head prefect, I really appreciate the closeness and 'family' ethos of the school, and am very grateful to all the teachers, who are always willing to help and support. The last six years in school has offered me unforgettable opportunities, a chance to learn new skills and grow as an individual. After finishing my studies at Ysgol Y Strade, I plan on studying Law at Cardiff University."

"Throughout my journey here at Ysgol Y Strade, the school has given me a number of opportunities that I will forever treasure. These opportunities have allowed me to develop essential skills for university life. The experiences have also made preparing my UCAS application this year a lot easier, as I can transfer the knowledge and skills to me intended university course, which is Biochemistry. It is also a great honour for me to be selected as a Head Prefect this year, and I am eager to be a positive role model to younger learners at the school, thus ensuring that they're journey at the school is as worthwhile and enjoyable as mine."
