Derbyn gwaith gwahaniaethol o fewn gwersi, sy’n galluogi disgyblion ar y ddau begwn i wneud cynnydd priodol.
Derbyn cymorth mewn gwersi os oes ei angen.
Bydd yr ysgol yn:
Darparu ystod o gyfleoedd a chymorth priodol i ddisgyblion ar y ddau begwn, gan gynnwys asiantaethau allanol ble mae hynny’n briodol.
Darparu man tawel ar gyfer disgyblion – y Cwtsh – ble bydd aelod o staff ar gael i roi cefnogaeth os oes ei angen.
Darparu cyfleoedd ar gyfer gwahanol ddulliau asesu ar draws y cwricwlwm sydd yn galluogi adnabod cryfder a gwendid pob disgybl
Ymgynghori gyda’r plentyn, y rhieni a’r athrawon yn yr ysgol gynradd er mwyn sicrhau fod y gweithdrefnau pontio addas yn eu lle

An important part of our vision is to establish an inclusive school where all the needs of each pupil are fulfilled, be they pupils with special educational needs or those who are more able and talented.
Every pupil at Bro Edern will receive a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum and will be encouraged to achieve to the best of his/her ability.
To achieve this pupils will:
Be integrated into mixed ability classes in Year 7, with around 30 pupils in each class.
Receive specialist support where needed through the Additional Learning Needs department.
Receive differentiated work within lessons which will allow pupils on both ends of the ability range to make appropriate progress.
Receive support in lessons if needed.
The school will:
Provide a range of opportunities and appropriate support to pupils on both ends of the ability range, and include outside agencies where needed.
Provide a quiet area for the pupils – y Cwtsh – where a member of staff will be available to provide support if needed.
Provide opportunities for different assessment methods across the curriculum so that the strengths and weaknesses of each pupil can be recognised.
Consult with the child, the parents and the teachers in the primary school to ensure that suitable transition arrangements are in place.
Keep the classes as small as possible from Year 8 onwards, when some subject banding will be used to allow smaller groups for pupils with learning difficulties.
The school’s Additional Learning Needs coordinator is
Mrs Meriel Powell
