Gowerton School Profile
Gowerton school is an 11-18 school servicing the northen area of the Gower peninsula in Swansea. The school is steeped in history and recently celebrated its 125th anniversary. The school has approximately 1180 pupils on role with approximately 150 of those in the school's sixth form.
Gowerton school has a strong cluster partnership model with the North Gower Partnership of schools. The digital leads from across the cluster meet multiple times a year to collaborate on digital initiatives and benefit from strong working relationships.
The school was previously a digital pioneer school who collaborated on both the original Digital Competency Framework and Curriculum for Wales.

We were a pioneer school so I worked on the new curriculum and attended various meetings across Wales throughout 2018 and 2019.
I have worked at Gowerton Comprehensive School for 8 years.
I teach Computer Science up to A Level and Computer Studies at Key Stage 3.
