During Autumn term Reception have been explored all things ‘Traditional Tales’. We filmed our own baking show including step by steps instructions on how to make a gingerbread man. Our collaboration and innovation skills came in handy when designing and building a new chair for baby bear after Goldilocks had broken it. We explored a variety of different bridges when reading ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’, and even managed to build our own, ensuring they were strong and stable. Alongside all of this rich and engaging learning opportunities we have also started our Read, Write Inc journey. We have loved learning each Set 1 sound and some of us can even blend them together now to read simple words and phrases. We can’t wait to see what exciting learning opportunities Spring term has in store for us!
