May the Force be with You 

This term, Year 4 have been exploring energy and how  it is transferred from one place to another. We had a wonderful visit from Explora Dome, who talked to us about light and dark. We learned that darkness is essentially made up of nothing - so no need to be scared of the dark! In Literacy, we have written our own versions of the 'Midnight Fair', a picture book written by Gideon Sterer. In mathematics, we have been developing our skills in the 4 operations. 

We have also explored sound waves and how they move through the air. More recently, we have researched facts about electricity and we are using our skills to create circuits for a light up Christmas card.
