Cinio Ysgol am Ddim - Grŵp Gweithredu
Free School Meals - Action Group
Bwriad Llywodraeth Cymru yw sicrhau bod pob plentyn cynradd yn derbyn cinio ysgol am ddim o fis Medi 2023.
Rydym wedi cychwyn ar y daith ac mae Derbyn, Blwyddyn 1 a Blwyddyn 2 erbyn hyn yn derbyn y cynnig o ginio ysgol am ddim. Rydym yn sefydlu Grŵp Gweithredu er mwyn sicrhau bod hyn yn cael ei weithredu’n effeithiol a bod unrhyw risgiau'n cael eu lliniaru ym mhob ysgol ar Ynys Môn.
Rydym yn chwilio am benaethiaid neu gynrychiolwyr i fod yn rhan o’r Grŵp Gweithredu. Os oes gennych chi neu gynrychiolydd o'ch ysgol ddiddordeb, gofynnwn yn garedig i chi gysylltu ag Angharadjones@ynysmon.llyw.cymru neu GethinJones3@ynysmon.llyw.cymru os gwelwch yn dda. Rydym hefyd yn croesawu unrhyw sylwadau neu bryderon sydd gennych am y cynllun hyd yn hyn neu wrth symud ymlaen.
The Welsh Government intends to ensure that all primary school children receive free school meals from September 2023.
We have started on the journey, and Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are now receiving the offer of free school meals. We are setting up an Operational Group to ensure that this is implemented effectively and that any risks are mitigated in all schools on Anglesey.
We are looking for headteachers or representatives to be part of the Operational Group,. If you or a representative from your school is interested, please contact Angharadjones@ynysmon.llyw.cymru or GethinJones3@ynysmon.llyw.cymru. We also welcome any concerns or comments you may have about the scheme so far or in moving forward.

Iechyd a Diogelwch
Health and Safety
Fel dilyniant i’r Fforwm Iechyd a Diogelwch diweddaraf, hoffwn eich atgoffa o’r canlynol:
Hyfforddiant
Bydd holiadur ar y ffordd yn fuan i’ch holi am lefel hyfforddiant iechyd a diogelwch yr ysgol o ran cydymffurfio gyda disgwyliadau statudol. Cofiwch bod rhagor o wybodaeth am hyfforddiant ar gael yma: IaD / H&S - Hyfforddiant / Training (google.com) ac mae sesiwn i lywodraethwyr wedi ei threfnu ar gyfer 28.03.23 (rhagor o fanylion isod). Mae’n gyfrifoldeb ar yr ysgol i drefnu hyfforddiant addas yn ôl y gofyn.
Rhestr wirio
Fel gwyddoch, mae swyddogion Iechyd a Diogelwch yn ymweld â phob ysgol er mwyn cefnogi gydag awgrymiadau a sylwadau. Mae’r rhestr wirio gorfforaethol wedi’i haddasu i ystyried ambell i sylw priodol o safbwynt diogelwch/diogelu ar safle (noder y cyflwyniad ynghlwm). Mae’r rhestr wirio ar gael yma: IaD - Adroddiad Templed.doc - Google Drive
Adolygiad Rheolaeth Ysgol
Yr hanner tymor hwn, gofynnwn i chi rhoi sylw i elfen ‘Iechyd a Diogelwch’ yr Adolygiad Rheolaeth Ysgolion, os gwelwch yn dda (erbyn 31.03.23). Bydd hyn yn ein galluogi i adnabod ble mae ysgolion angen cefnogaeth:

Following the last Health and Safety Forum, we would like to remind you of the following:
Training
A questionnaire will be on its way to you shortly to ask you about the school’s health and safety training level in terms of compliance with statutory expectations. Remember that further information regarding training is available here: IaD / H&S - Hyfforddiant / Training (google.com) and a session for governors has been arranged for 28.03.23 (further details below). It is the responsibility of the school to arrange suitable training as required.
Checklist
As you are aware, health and safety officers visit each school to support with suggestions and comments. The corporate checklist has been adapted to consider some appropriate comments in terms of safety/safeguarding on site (please note the attached presentation). The checklist is available here: IaD - Adroddiad Templed.doc - Google Drive
School Management Review
This half term, we ask you to address the ‘Health and Safety’ element of the School Management Review, please (by 31.03.23). This will enable us to identify where schools require support:

Cofiwch fod rhaid i lywodraethwyr gwblhau hyfforddiant mandadol o fewn 12 mis o’u penodi neu maent yn wynebu cael eu tynnu oddi ar y corff llywodraethol dros dro/yn barhaol. Please remember that governors must complete mandatory training within 12 months of appointment, or they face being removed from the governing body temporarily/permanently. These mandatory courses are available online for free on our website - further information can be found here.
The numbers registering for sessions are quite high, but the numbers attending don’t reflect this (although we remind them the day before).

Cais am Gludiant
Application for Transport
Mae ffurflen newydd ar-lein wedi’i chynhyrchu ar gyfer gwneud cais am gludiant tacsi ysgol o’r 07.03.23 (dolen gyswllt i ddilyn). Fel yr ydych yn ymwybodol, gwneir ceisiadau tacsi drwy’r ysgolion, nid drwy rieni/gwarcheidwaid, felly ni fydd y ffurflen ar gael i’r cyhoedd.
Er bod y mwyafrif o’r ffurflen gais yr un fath, mae ychydig o ychwanegiadau wedi’u gwneud i’r ffurflen er mwyn osgoi’r gallu i gyflwyno ceisiadau cludiant nad ydynt yn gymwys. Bydd y dudalen flaen yn gofyn am wybodaeth ynglŷn â sail y cais: y pellter (rhieni’n gyfrifol am y 2 filltir gyntaf); y cynllun seddi gweigion (bydd y telerau a’r amodau’n cael eu nodi ar y ffurflen fel bod ysgolion yn ymwybodol nad oes gwarantu sedd wag). Bydd hefyd yn egluro adrannau o’r polisi fel bod y sawl sy’n gwneud cais yn ymwybodol pam nad yw’r cais yn cwrdd â’r meini prawf ar gyfer cludiant am ddim. Dylai hyn sicrhau y gellir gwneud penderfyniadau’n gyflym, heb yr angen i fynd yn ôl ac ymlaen am fwy o wybodaeth. Bydd y sesiwn Anwytho/Ail-gyfarwyddo Penaethiaid ddydd Gwener yn cynnwys arweiniad ar y system newydd.
Fel y mae gydag unrhyw system newydd, efallai y bydd rhai gwallau gyda’r ffurflen newydd hon yn gychwynnol. Byddem yn croesawu unrhyw sylwadau neu awgrymiadau ar gyfer gwelliannau drwy ein cyfeiriad e-bost: trafnidiaethaddysg@ynysmon.llyw.cymru.
Byddwn yn dod i gyswllt eto’n fuan i’ ch hysbysu unwaith y bydd y ffurflen yn fyw ar Sharepoint.
Yn y cyfamser, gan ein bod yn trosglwyddo o un system i un arall, fe’ch cynghorwn i hysbysu’r adran os ydych wedi cyflwyno cais ym mis Mawrth/Ebrill drwy e-bostio trafnidiaethaddysg@ynysmon.llyw.cymru – bydd hyn yn sicrhau nad yw ceisiadau’n mynd ar goll yn ystod y cyfnod trosglwyddo.
A new online application form has been generated for making an application for school taxi transport as of 07.03.23 (hyperlink to follow). As you are aware, taxi applications are made via schools, not via parents/guardians, therefore the form will not be made available to the public.
Whilst the application form itself is mainly the same, a few additions have been made to the form to avoid submitting ineligible transport applications. The front sheet will ask for information regarding the basis of the application: the distance (parents are responsible for the first 2 miles); vacant seat scheme (the terms and conditions will be noted on the form so that schools are aware that there is no guarantee of a vacant seat). It will also explain sections of the policy so that the submitter is aware why the application does not meet the criteria for free transport. This should ensure that decisions can be made swiftly, without the need to go back and forth for more information. The Headteacher Induction/Refresher session on Friday will include a walk-through of the new system.
As with any new system, there may be some glitches to this new form initially. We would welcome any comments or suggestions for improvements via our Education Transport email account: trafnidiaethaddysg@ynysmon.gov.wales.
We will contact you again shortly to notify you once the form is live on Sharepoint.
In the meantime, as we are transferring from one system to another, we advise that you notify the department if you have submitted an application in March/April by emailing trafnidiaethaddysg@ynysmon.gov.wales – this will ensure that applications do not get lost during the transfer period.

Grant Urddas Mislif mewn Ysgolion a Chymunedau 2022-23
Period Dignity in Schools and Communities Grant 2022-23
Mae'r ALl unwaith eto wedi derbyn grant ynglŷn â'r uchod, lle'r aeth y Gwasanaeth Dysgu allan i dendro am gyflenwad o gynnyrch mislif mewn perthynas â'r uchod. Ar ôl sgorio a gwerthuso pob cynnig a dderbyniwyd, gallwn gadarnhau mai Banner Group UK oedd y cyflenwr buddugol.
Bydd Lisa Esho o’r cwmni'n cysylltu â phob ysgol yn unigol i drafod y cynnyrch a’r archebion yn ogystal â dyraniad pob ysgol. Y targed fydd i bob ysgol dderbyn y cynnyrch erbyn diwedd mis Mawrth.
The LA has again received a grant regarding the above, whereby the Learning Service went out to tender for a supply of menstrual products in relation to the above. After scoring and evaluating each offer received, we can confirm that Banner Group UK was the winning supplier.
Lisa Esho from the company will contact each school individually to discuss the products and orders as well as each school's allocation. The target will be for all schools to receive the product by the end of March.
Cymru sy’n Falch o’r Mislif
A Period Proud Wales
Bwriad Llywodraeth Cymru yw dod â thlodi mislif i ben a sicrhau urddas mislif yng Nghymru erbyn 2027. Heddiw, byddwn yn cyhoeddi Cynllun Gweithredu ‘Cymru sy’n Falch o’r Mislif’.
Mae tudalen we bwrpasol wedi’i datblygu sy’n cysylltu â’r cynllun ac adnoddau a gwybodaeth am y grant urddas mislif.
https://www.llyw.cymru/cymru-syn-falch-or-mislif
Mae fideo wedi’i animeiddio wedi’i gynhyrchu yn tynnu sylw at nodau’r polisi, ynghyd â fideos o brofiadau bywyd – sy’n cynnwys menywod yn siarad yn agored am eu profiadau nhw o’r mislif mewn ymgais i normaleiddio’r sgwrs ac annog eraill i ‘ddechrau’r sgwrs a bod yn falch o’r mislif’. Rydym wedi bod yn gweithio gyda Women Connect First, Triniaeth Deg i Fenywod Cymru, ysgolion, Pêl-rwyd Cymru ac eraill i lunio’r ffilmiau hyn.
Fel rhanddeiliaid a phartneriaid allweddol, hoffai Llywodraeth Cymru ichi ddefnyddio eich sianeli cyfathrebu i’n helpu i gyfleu’r neges i gynulleidfaoedd.
Rydym felly wedi llunio pecyn cymorth o adnoddau – nodwch nad yw’r ddolen ei hun i’w rhannu’n gyhoeddus:
Published Assets (assetbank-server.com)
Ymhlith yr adnoddau hyn mae:
Cynnwys a awgrymir ar gyfer y cyfryngau cymdeithasol – Cymraeg / Saesneg
Graffeg statig i gyd-fynd â chynnwys ar gyfer y cyfryngau cymdeithasol – Cymraeg / Saesneg
Bydd mwy o asedau’n cael eu hychwanegu i’r ffolder yn barhaus wrth iddynt ddod ar gael gan gynnwys:
Clip animeiddio i gyd-fynd â chynnwys ar gyfer y cyfryngau cymdeithasol – Cymraeg / Saesneg
Fideos o brofiadau bywyd i gyd-fynd â chynnwys ar gyfer y cyfryngau cymdeithasol – Cymraeg / Saesneg
Mae croeso ichi ddewis a dethol negeseuon a fydd yn taro tant fwyaf gyda’ch cynulleidfaoedd.
The Welsh Government plan to end period poverty and achieve period dignity in Wales by 2027. Today we will be publishing The Period Proud Wales Action Plan.
A dedicated web page has been developed which links to the plan, resources and information on the period dignity grant.
https://www.gov.wales/period-proud-wales
An animated video highlighting the aims of the policy has been produced, along with lived experience videos – which feature women talking openly about their experience of periods in a bid to normalise the conversation and encourage others to ‘start the conversation and be period proud’. We’ve been working with Women Connect First, Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales, schools, Welsh Netball and others to put together these films.
As key stakeholders and partners, the Welsh Government would like your communication channels to support getting the message out to audiences.
We have therefore put together a toolkit of resources – please note that the link itself is not to be shared publicly:
Published Assets (assetbank-server.com)
This includes:
Suggested social media content – Welsh / English
Static graphics to accompany social media content – Welsh / English
More assets will be added to the folder as an ongoing process as they become available including:
Animation Clip to accompany social media content – Welsh / English
Lived experience videos to accompany social media content - Welsh / English
Feel free to pick and choose posts that will most resonate with your audiences.

Mae Chartwells wedi gofyn a fyddai gan unrhyw ysgolion ddiddordeb mewn disgyblion Blwyddyn 6 yn derbyn platiau, cyllyll a ffyrc, powlenni ac ati yn lle ‘flight trays’ yn ystod gwasanaeth cinio. Nod hyn yw helpu gyda’r trawsnewid o Flwyddyn 6 i Flwyddyn 7 a’u helpu i baratoi ar gyfer y sector uwchradd. Os oes gan unrhyw ysgolion ddiddordeb, cysylltwch â GethinJones3@ynysmon.llyw.cymru
Chartwells has asked if any schools would be interested in Year 6 pupils receiving plates, cutlery, bowls, etc., instead of 'flight trays' during lunch service.
