Canllawiau - Tywydd eithafol o boeth
Guidance - Extremely hot weather
Gyda thymheredd uchel wedi’i ragweld yr wythnos hon, hoffwn eich atgoffa i edrych ar y canllawiau isod ynghylch trefniadau mewn tywydd eithafol o boeth:
Gweler hefyd y llythyr ynghlwm gan LlC.
Gwerthfawrogwn eich bod yn ystyried y canllawiau/gwybodaeth hyn er mwyn cymryd y camau priodol, ac i gadw llygad ar yr amodau eithriadol wythnos yma.
Diolch am eich cydweithrediad parhaus.
With high temperatures forecasted for this week, I would like to remind you to refer to the guidance below regarding arrangements in extremely hot weather:
Please also see the enclosed letter from WG.
We appreciate you considering this guidance/information in order to take the appropriate steps, and to keep an eye on the extreme conditions this week.
Thank you for your continued cooperation.
Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol Ysgolion
Schools' Strategic Equality Plan
Hoffwn eich atgoffa y dylai bob ysgol sicrhau fod ganddynt Gynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol cyfredol ar waith, a’i fod yn adlewyrchu blaenoriaethau, trefniadau a chyfrifoldebau statudol presennol yr ysgol yng Nghymru. Mae’n ofynnol i ysgolion baratoi a chyhoeddi Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol ac adolygu eu hamcanion cydraddoldeb o leiaf bob pedair blynedd.
Gofynnwn i chi adolygu sefyllfa eich ysgol er mwyn cadarnhau ei bod yn parhau’n gyfredol, yn hygyrch ac wedi’i halinio’n briodol â’ch gwaith parhaus i hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb a dileu gwahaniaethu. Mae templed drafft ar gyfer Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol ar gael ar ein SharePoint:
Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol - Strategic Equality Plan 2025.docx
Mae’r Offeryn Adolygiad Rheolaeth Ysgolion hefyd yn cynnig cyfle i chi hunan-werthuso trefniadau eich ysgol ar gyfer y cynllun cydraddoldeb.
Mae’n ofynnol i ysgolion baratoi a chyhoeddi Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol. Nid yw’r rheoliadau’n nodi dull penodol o gyhoeddi’r cynllun, ond maent yn ei gwneud yn ofynnol i wybodaeth a gyhoeddir fod yn hygyrch. Fel mater o arfer da, efallai y bydd eich ysgol hefyd yn dymuno ystyried sicrhau bod eu Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol cyfredol ar gael ar wefan yr ysgol fel y gall rhieni, gofalwyr, llywodraethwyr a chymuned ehangach yr ysgol ei gyrchu’n hawdd.
Gan y bydd y neges hon hefyd yn cael ei rhannu â chyrff llywodraethu, gofynnwn i chi sicrhau bod llywodraethwyr yn cael eu hysbysu am drefniadau eich ysgol a’r adolygiad parhaus o’r cynllun.
Mae gan y Comisiwn Cydraddoldeb a Hawliau Dynol adnoddau a chanllawiau ar gael i ysgolion ar eu gwefan, sy’n cynnwys:
Rhestr wirio (ynghlwm) ar gyfer ysgolion yng Nghymru ar yr hyn y dylid ei gynnwys mewn Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol (SEP).
Taflen Ffeithiau addysg sy'n tynnu sylw at anghydraddoldebau addysgol allweddol a gellir eu defnyddio i ddatblygu amcanion cydraddoldeb ar gyfer SEP ysgol. Mae hyn wedi'i dynnu o'n hadroddiad Monitor Cydraddoldeb a Hawliau Dynol 2023: A yw Cymru'n Decach? ar gyflwr y genedl; canllawiau, offeryn gwneud penderfyniadau, esboniadau fideo ac astudiaeth achos ar atal gwahaniaethu ar sail gwallt yn yr ysgol.
Mae’r Comisiwn yn bwriadu monitro cydymffurfiaeth gyda’r disgwyliadau deddfwriaethol.
Mae croeso i chi gysylltu gyda Cydraddoldeb@ynysmon.llyw.cymru os ydych angen unrhyw arweiniad/cyngor pellach ar hyn.
Diolch i chi am eich cefnogaeth barhaus yn y maes pwysig hwn.
I would like to remind you that each school should ensure they have an up-to-date Strategic Equality Plan in place and that it reflects the school's current priorities, arrangements and responsibilities in Wales. It is required for schools to prepare and publish a Strategic Equality Plan and review their equality objectives at least every four years.
We kindly ask you to review your school's situation to confirm that it remains up-to-date, accessible and appropriately aligned with your continuous work to promote equality and eradicate discrimination. A draft template for the Strategic Equality Plan is available on our SharePoint:
Cynllun Cydraddoldeb Strategol - Strategic Equality Plan 2025.docx
The School Management Review tool also offers an opportunity for you to self-evaluate your school's arrangements for the equality plan.
Schools are required to prepare and publish a Strategic Equality Plan. The regulations do not note a specific method to publish the plan, but make it a requirement for published information to be accessible. As a matter of good practice, your school may also wish to consider publishing their Strategic Equality Plan on the school website so that parents, carers, governors and the school's wider community can easily access it.
As this message will also be shared with governing bodies, please ensure that governors are notified of your school's arrangements and the continuous review of the plan.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission has resources and guidance available to schools on their website, which include:
A checklist (attached) for schools in Wales on what should be included in a Strategic Equality Plan (SEP).
An Education Factsheet which draws attention to key educational inequalities that can be used to develop equality objectives for a school SEP. This has been extracted from our Equality and Human Rights Monitor 2023: Is Wales Fairer? report on the nation's condition; guidance, a decision making tool, video explanations and a case study on preventing hair discrimination in schools.
The Commission intends to monitor compliance with the legislative expectations.
You are welcome to get in touch with Equality@anglesey.gov.wales if you require any further guidance/support on this.
Thank you for your continuous support in this important area.
Dyddiadau Hyfforddiant Mewn Swydd
Teachers' Training Dates
Gofynnwn yn garedig i chi sicrhau eich bod yn rhannu dyddiadau HMS ar gyfer 2026-27 gyda rhieni a gofalwyr mewn modd amserol, os gwelwch yn dda. Nid yw'r dyddiadau hyn yn cael eu cyhoeddi ar gwefan y Cyngor gan mai penderfyniad yr ysgol yw cytuno ar y dyddiadau.
Mae'n sicrhau bod rhieni'n ymwybodol o’r dyddiadau hyn, yn eu helpu i gynllunio ymlaen llaw ac yn cyfrannu at gyfathrebu clir a chydweithio effeithiol rhwng ysgolion a theuluoedd.
Please ensure that you share INSET dates for 2026-27 with parents and carers in a timely manner. These dates are not published on the Council's website as it is the school's decision to agree on dates.
It ensures that parents are aware of these dates, helps them forward plan and contributes to clear communication and effective collaboration between schools and families.
A oes gennych ardd ysgol?
Do you have a school garden?
Y flwyddyn nesaf (2027), bydd Ynys Môn yn sir nawdd i’r Sioe Frenhinol. Bydd cystadleuaeth yno dim ond i’n hysgolion ni. Felly fel paratoad, yn Sioe Môn eleni rydym am gynnal cystadleuaeth o’r un math i ddathlu ymdrechion holl staff a phlant yr ysgolion.
Rydym yn chwilio am yr ardd ysgol orau fydd yn gyfuniad o dyfu llysiau, blodau a chreu cynefin i fyd natur.
Sut i gystadlu?
Bydd y gystadleuaeth i ysgolion cynradd ac uwchradd y sir. Bydd angen anfon pob cais atom erbyn 1 Gorffennaf 2026. Cyfyngir nifer y ceisiadau i un cais gan bob ysgol.
Anfonwch eich ceisiadau i garddysgolsioemon@gmail.com
Y cyfan fydd angen i chi ei wneud i gystadlu yw:
• Anfon llythyr gan y disgyblion yn nodi beth maent yn ei dyfu yn yr ardd a sut maent yn mwynhau gwneud hynny.
• Creu fideo byr o’r gofodau tyfu (wedi ei ffilmio’n llorweddol/landscape) heb fod yn fwy na 5 munud o hyd.
• Cynnwys 3 llun diddorol o’r ardd.
Sut fyddwn ni’n pennu’r enillwyr?
Bydd panel o feirniaid yn edrych ar bob cais yn unigol ac yn mesur cryfder y ceisiadau yn unol â’r meini prawf canlynol:
• Amrywiaeth planhigion gan gynnwys llysiau, ffrwythau a blodau.
• Ymwneud y plant â’r ardd fel rhan o’u haddysg.
• Edrychiad a chreadigrwydd yr ardd derfynol.
• Effaith gadarnhaol y gofod tyfu ar fioamrywiaeth a natur.
Noder - byddwn yn arddangos lluniau ac efallai clipiau fideo’r ysgol ar sgrin fawr yn ystod y Sioe ac felly bydd angen sicrhau bod gan yr holl ddisgyblion fydd yn ymddangos ar y sgrin neu yn y lluniau yr hawl i wneud yn unol â pholisïau a phroticolau’r ysgol. Eich cyfrifoldeb chi fydd sicrhau hynny a nodi’n ysgrifenedig i ni wrth gyflwyno’ch cais.
Bydd gwobr i'r ardd orau.

Restart a Heart Live 2026 offers a valuable opportunity for you and your pupils to learn essential lifesaving skills in just 20 minutes.
This free, UK-wide annual event is designed to teach CPR and defibrillator awareness to primary and secondary school children. With most cardiac arrests happening within the home, we are more likely to know the person who needs our help.
Restart a Heart Live aims to make sure that both pupils and teachers are prepared and empowered to perform CPR when it matters most.
Through Restart a Heart Live we hope to build confidence, start conversations in schools and help more people see themselves as potential lifesavers.
Restart a Heart Live will be streamed directly into classrooms across the UK on 1 October.
We are inviting your school to take part. You can register using the links below:

We have a Welsh Language Cygnet Autism Programme starting on Friday 26th June, 9.30am to 12pm and are looking for parents and carers that you work with who you think would benefit from attending or would like to find out more about future sessions.
The Cygnet course is a programme to support parents and carers caring for children and young people, aged 5 to 18 years old that are diagnosed with autism, on the pathway to an autism diagnosis or suspected of having autism.
Attending a Cygnet autism support course gives parents and carers the opportunity to develop their understanding of autism and consider ways to support their child. It also provides the opportunity to meet other people in a similar situation and to hear about their experiences in an informal but supportive atmosphere.
Parents and carers can access the link to book directly through the link below.
Cygnet Autism Support | Barnardo's
Your support in sharing this with the parents and carers you work with is much appreciated as we hope we can reach more families that need support with learning about autism.
