The Hutto HS Band program is proud to offer specialized instruction opportunities for its students. Our private lesson program provides students with a high quality enhancement to our classroom instruction. Teachers are all specialists on their instruments and most have post graduate degrees. Private lessons are extremely valuable to the individual student and those who take them usually end up being very successful on their instrument.

1. ALL students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to take individualized private instruction.

2. Teachers are screened and interviewed by the district.

3. Lessons will be given weekly, preferably during the band classes.

4. If there is a need for before/after school lessons, every effort will be made to schedule private lessons at times that do not conflict with sectionals, or other activities.

5. Payments are made to the lesson teachers, not the band directors.
