Ryan Manders, Director of Bands

Ryan Manders will be entering his 8th year of teaching and 4th year at Hutto High School. Mr. Manders will be the Director of the High School Wind Ensemble and Co-Director of the High School and NGC Concert Bands.
Mr. Manders is proud to have spent his entire career in Hutto ISD! Before moving over to Hutto High School, he spent his first 4 years as an Assistant Director at Hutto Middle School. Throughout his time at HMS, Mr. Manders primarily instructed beginner brass classes, the HMS Concert Band, and co-directed the HMS Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble.
Mr. Manders received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education All-Level Instrumental from Sam Houston State University. While in attendance at Sam Houston State University, he performed with the SHSU Symphonic Band, Bearkat Marching Band, Angry Orange Basketball Band, Old Main Brass Choir, and various trumpet ensembles. For two summers, Mr. Manders had the honor to perform with the World Class Drum & Bugle Corps, Santa Clara Vanguard aging out as a silver medalist in 2017 respectively.
Mr. Manders continues his education by collaborating with and assisting his colleagues Ms. Kendall, Mr. Foulk, and Mr. Campoy. He's had the opportunity to teach on the visual staff for the World Class Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, and brass staff for the World Class Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps. Mr. Manders is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and holds alumni status with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity.
During his free time, Mr. Manders enjoys staying active outdoors, skiing, traveling, cooking BBQ, spending time with his family alongside his 3 year old nephew Hayden, and cheering on Austin FC! I'm excited for another great school year, and the opportunity to teach the students coming through the Hutto High School Band. Go Hippos!
During Ms. Kendall’s third year at Hutto High School, she will lead the Wind Symphony and direct the Symphonic Band at the Hutto 9th Grade Center. Additionally, Ms. Kendall will assist Mr. Manders and Mr. Campoy in teaching the Hutto High School Marching Band, HHS Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band and the 9th Grade Center Concert Band.
As a clarinetist, Ms. Kendall was honored for three years as an Oklahoma All-State Band member. She also had the privilege of performing with the University of Arkansas Wind Ensemble for several semesters. Ms. Kendall's love for the marching arts led her to participate in Resistance Indoor Percussion as a member of the cymbal line during the 2022 season. The ensemble had the honor of performing in the WGI Open Class World Finals in Dayton.
During her pursuit of a music education degree from the University of Arkansas, Ms. Kendall served as a Woodwind Instructor and Visual Tech at Bentonville High School and was allowed the opportunity to learn from the incredible teachers, staff, and humans who helped inspired her to continue into a career in high school band.
Ms. Kendall finished her musical education in spring of 2023 after a student teaching at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio. Ms. Kendall holds alumni status with Sigma Alpha Iota and is a current member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association.
In her free time, Ms. Kendall loves enjoys traveling, volunteering, thrifting, and playing clarinet in the Cedar Park Winds. Ms. Kendall is excited to continue to grow the abilities of the students on the Hutto Band team and to work alongside this group during this new season. Go Hippos!
Cordell Foulk, Assistant Director of Bands, Director of Jazz

Cordell Foulk is thrilled to be joining the Hutto High School Band team! He will direct the Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble while assisting with all other concert and marching ensembles.
Mr. Foulk earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied French horn and performed with various concert and chamber ensembles. While at UT, he also developed a strong passion for teaching, completing his student teaching at Westwood High School and Canyon Vista Middle School. He has worked with the marching programs at both Westwood and Liberty Hill High School.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Foulk is proud to have marched mellophone with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps. He brings with him a love of the marching arts, brass pedagogy, and jazz education.
When he's not teaching, Mr. Foulk enjoys playing video games and spending time with friends. He is excited to be part of the Hutto community and looks forward to an incredible year with the program.
Mr. Allen Campoy is a percussionist and educator from Austin, TX and is excited for his first year with the Hutto Band!
He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University where he performed with the TCU Percussion Orchestra at the 2019 Percussive Arts Society International Convention. At this same convention he placed top 5 in the Collegiate Solo Keyboard contest.
Mr. Campoy recently received his master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he served as the drumline instructor for the Cornhusker Marching Band. He was also selected as the winner of the graduate solo concerto competition in 2023.
Outside of college, Mr. Campoy was a member of the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps in 2018, a featured guest speaker at the Sonart Music Festival in Santa Marta, Colombia in 2021, and placed 3rd in the duet division of the 2022 Great Plains International Marimba Competition.
When he’s not working, Mr. Campoy enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, being at the beach, and shredding at guitar hero.
Mr. Monteiro's journey in the world of performing arts began in the quaint town of Deerfield Beach, FL, where he cultivated his musical talents as a French horn & Clarinet player in the school band.
In a quest for new experiences, Mr. Monteiro ventured into the realm of drum corps during his junior year, making his debut with the Boston Crusaders in 2014 as a mellophone player. His senior year marked a milestone as part of the inaugural season of WGI winds, where with NOVA winds, he secured WGI Winds' first Scholastic A gold medal. Post-graduation, Mr. Monteiro passion for performance led him to explore the vibrant world of color guard, marching with esteemed winter guard organizations such as Premonition, Braddock Independent, Cypress Independent, Black Gold World, Spirit Independent World, and Origins World. Simultaneously, Mr. Monteiro pursued his love for drum corps, completing a season with Carolina Crown in 2017, where they were awarded the prestigious Jim Ott Brass Performance award. His journey culminated with an unforgettable experience aging out with Phantom Regiment in 2018.
When Mr. Monteiro moved to Texas after his age-out he became assistant guard director at Klein Oak HS. Following Covid he continued directing at Cypress Woods HS where he was able to get the team to become a BOA Regional Finalist, WGI regional finalist, and silver medalist just within 3 years. Mr. Monteiro then returned back to Phantom Regiment to be part of the color guard staff during their 2023 season. Mr. Monteiro now serves as the current caption head of the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Now calling Georgetown, TX home, Mr. Monteiro resides with his partner and their cherished dogs, Olafur and Leo. In addition to his role as the current guard director at Hutto High School (GO HIPPOS!).
Mr. Monteiro serves as a lead technician for Origins Open while lending his expertise as a choreographer and consultant to various programs across the state of Texas. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Monteiro finds joy in traveling and embarking on adventures with his partner, fueled by their love for coffee and wanderlust. Mr. Monteiro is looking forward to his third year here at Hutto HS and he can't wait to continue making history with the program.
