Genevieve Bowling is in her 7th year as Orchestra Director at Hutto Middle School.
Mrs. Bowling is fully certified with a Texas Teachers License, completed an undergraduate degree in Music Performance - Violin from Cleveland State University and a Post Baccalaureate in Music Education EC-12 from there as well.
My passion for teaching music comes from the musical opportunities I was fortunate to have growing up, and the belief that all children deserve to have a quality musical education.
Mrs. Bowling is an active violinist in the Austin area. You can regularly hear working events with her own groups as well as Live Oak Strings, Terra Vista Strings, and Harpist Sarah Hall; and recently performed in orchestras on stages and arenas across most of Texas with Michael Buble, Sarah Brightman, The Transiberian Orchestra, Disturbed, and Yandel.
Mrs. Bowling has had the esteemed honor of working for over 10 years with Carnatic vocalist and composer K.N. Shashikiran along with the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival as a supporting musician, music director for the western orchestra, and as a featured artist as part of the International Premier League in assocation with UNESCO pressents GLOBAL HARMONY THROUGH MUSICAL NOTES in celebration of of World Peace Day.
