This is a distinction that recognizes communities through evaluation of music performance opportunities, teacher certifications, facilities, accessibility to all students, interdisciplinary collaboration, course offerings, and more. This is Hutto ISD's second time receiving the honor in the NAMM Foundation's 25 years of recognition, with the first occurring in 2021.
