Over 50 Fossilized Footprints Found in Sand

There are over 50 fossilized prints that have been dated back to 6 million years ago. These prints have been believed to have been from the Cenozoic Era and have been believed they are from Orriorin Tegnensis (Early Species of Humans).

China's Lunar Rock Samples show lava flowed on the Moon 2 Billion Years Ago

2 Million Years ago lava flowed over the moon. Just recently some Chinese researchers recovered Lunar rocks. These rocks helped scientists learn what the moon was like millions of years ago. They learned the moon started cooling down from the lava 3 million years ago.

Calculating a Stars Age

To calculate a mass scientists look at the time it takes to orbit a comparison star. Depending on their mass certain stars hit their age milestones after a different number of years. The only star scientists know the exact age of is our sun. The spectrum of light that each star emits also allows scientist to find a relative age.

Scientists Say: Avalanche

Avalanches can be caused by different things like falling rocks, earthquakes, or someone can set one off by walking or skiing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Avalanches can sometimes be preventable. People can use explosives to set off and avalanche before someone accidentally sets one off.
