Star of the week

Ralphie - Ralphie has really tried hard in our phonics lessons this week. He has been knowledgeable, learning the new phonics sounds and is now able to identify initial sounds in words. He is also a risk taker, willing to put up his hand and share his ideas even if he is unsure.


Amber - Amber has really worked on her communicating skills, she is now putting her hand up in carpet sessions, talking about her ideas and engaging with her friends and adults in her independent learning time.


Isla - Isla has been knowledgeable in her learning this week, especially in phonics. She is always one of the first to want to complete her phonics activity and has a love for learning. She is now able to segment words for reading using the sounds we have learnt.

Berners-Lee Class

Star of the week

Harley - Harley has been a caring member of our class this week, going out of his way to help the adults in the room with jobs and offer them a big smile! Well done Harley!


Kady - Kady is an enthusiastic and principled member of our class, who engages with all of her learning and tries her best in every lesson. Her phonics has been especially brilliant, recognising her sounds and common exception words. Great work!


Oliver - Oliver has been persevering with his learning this week and been a truly knowledgeable learner. He successfully added parts to make a whole and identified the day's digraph in his text. Great job Oliver!

Cousteau Class

Star of the week

Lillie-Rose - Lillie-Rose has been trying really hard with her reading this week, especially at home. She has also been very knowledgeable during her lessons, especially in skills, as she has been able to identify commas and use them correctly in her writing.


Poppy - Poppy has been reflective in her learning this week, making positive choices when it comes to her learning, resulting in some great edits to her writing.


Jaxson - Jaxson has been great in sensory circuits this week, showing what a great role model he can be to the younger children. As well as this, Jaxson has shown great enthusiasm in his learning this week by asking and answering questions, showing what a great communicator he can be.

Anderson Class

Star of the week

Oakleigh - Oakleigh has been taking risk in his learning this week. In maths he has been trying to give reason and prove his answers independently as well as correcting and upleveling his own writing.


Amelia - For being a risk take in her learning by always having her hand up and taking a chance with an answer. She has been a great role model for the class and a great learning buddy to her peers.


Jasmine - She has been a reflective learner and making the positives choices within her learning resulting in some great pieces of work.

Adams Class

Star of the week

Indi - Ella - Indi-Ella has been able to apply her research and thinking skills when being knowledgeable in her work on the Greek gods. She was able to use a range of secondary sources to find out key facts about her chosen God.


Kimberley - Kimberley has been a wonderful communicator, sharing her ideas to the whole class and though her partner work. She has been able to justify her ideas linking this to our learning.


Adam - Adam has been reflective when providing contributions in lessons and when improving work in his Maths sessions.

Thunberg Class

Star of the week

Maisie - Maisie has been a risk taker in class this week. She has pushed herself to be an independent learner and has shown perseverance in tasks that she has found difficult. Well done Maisie


Timi - Timi has worked really hard with his writing and pushed himself to meet his targets. He has shown resilience and thinking skills by editing his work independently. Well done Timi!


Novah - Novah has really challenged himself this week. He has embraced his new targets and really pushed himself to meet them. Novah is trying hard in all lessons and is showing that he is a principled thinker. Well done Novah

Attenborough Class

Star of the week

Kerrie - For exhibiting great knowledge and thinking skills to create wonderful haiku poems inspired by the book 'Moth' and a great letter written in role as Charles Darwin.


Jeremiah - Jeremiah has been a principled thinker and shown a real commitment to improving his learning and has been independently editing his work.


Harry - For being a principled, open-minded thinker when discussing anti-bullying and making pledges to help eliminate bullying
