PSHE

This term, the students at The Hundred of Hoo have been exploring Black History Month. This links to our PSHE work around developing caring friendships, respectful relationships and being safe. The children have done work around the incredible work of significant Black people in British and global history, including studying Rosa Parks in Year 2 and creating work on celebrating our differences in Year 1. All of the children demonstrated an awareness of prejudice and how we have a responsibility to challenge these behaviours, either by speaking out or finding someone who can help us resolve these issues.
