All teachers across Leigh Academies Trust are expected to be proficient in using Google G Suite e.g. Google Drive, Google Docs, Google sheets, Gmail. Teachers are expected to take and pass the Certified Google Educator Level 1 Exam. We would strongly advise that you begin to prepare for this prior to joining us so that you can take it in your first term if you do not already have the qualification. Guidance and expectations on how to develop Google Skills in order to successfully pass this exam can be found on our Teacher Talk Website, here
