Martha - This module Martha has fully engaged and explored the features of traditional stories from around the world. She is able to make connections between the stories and vocalised these well. She has used different forms of expression to retell these stories including role play, artwork and writing. Martha understands the moral teaching behind many of the stories such as teamwork, never giving up, kindness and courage. Well done Martha!
Ivy - Ivy has been an incredible inquirer this module, when learning about a variety of traditional tales and how they link to different countries of the world. She has fully embraced roleplaying a variety of characters from across the stories and has expressed herself in a number of different ways. I hope to see you on the stage someday. Well done Ivy, you really are a superstar!
George - This Module, George has immersed himself into the concept of journeys and where they may take us later in life. He has been able to make connections between historical journeys from around the world and our own journeys in life, thinking about the opportunities that may arise along the way.
Grayson - This module, Grayson has shown a great effort to understand our inquiry and the concepts of journeys and where they may take us. He has shown connections between historical figures and how their journeys have impacted our lives. Grayson has also carefully considered what opportunities these explorers have made and how it has changed our world for the better.
Hugo - This module, Hugo has made a huge effort to learn and understand each line of inquiry, making strong connections between how inventions of the past have shaped the present day. He has thought carefully about materials and their suitabilities, the history of the first flight as well as inventors of the world! Well done, Hugo!
Ethan - For consistently demonstrating open-mindedness and curiosity, and for thinking deeply about how innovation can help improve the world. He shares thoughtful ideas, listens respectfully to others, and shows a strong willingness to explore new perspectives. His positive attitude and forward-thinking mindset make him a valuable member of the class.
Aura - Well done Aura on receiving this International Mindfulness certificate. You have shown caring and thoughtful thinking while exploring Sharing the Planet. You carefully considered how plants function, why they matter, and our responsibility to protect them.
TJ - TJ has shown outstanding development in module 3. He approaches learning with curiosity and thoughtful reflection, often making connections across cultures and ideas. His principled nature shines through in his strong sense of fairness, honesty, and responsibility in both his work and interactions with others. What truly stands out is his research skills and attitude which stood out in Science and RE lessons. He listens to different perspectives with respect and is always willing to try new ideas or consider unfamiliar viewpoints. TJ is growing into a globally aware learner who truly embodies the spirit of international mindedness. Keep up the fantastic work TJ - you make the world a wonderful place to be in!
Rueco - Rueco has demonstrated some thought provoking questions during our Inquiry this module, especially when exploring how volcanoes can impact people and places both locally and globally. It was great to see how Rueco used his research skills to find answers to the questions he had and how he made connections between his ideas and what he had found out. Well done for being a fantastic inquirer this module Rueco!
Ali - Ali has worked very hard this module on creating links between his lines of inquiry. He always ensures to challenge his ideas and makes sure to be an inquirer and a risk-taker with everything that he does. He consistently shows an open mind to all aspects of this learning and school life! Keep it up Ali!
Freddie - Freddie has demonstrated international mindedness by respecting and understanding other children’s opinions and perspectives in class. He has explored global issues, such as pollution and river quality around the world, and understands that everyone has a role to play in protecting and keeping them clean.
Amelia - Amelia has shown her compassion, thoughtfulness and thinking about others, during our historical debate. She considered how resources influence the impact of war for individuals, communities and nations. Her communication skills show she can explain her opinion clearly, with evidence as well as listen respectfully to others. She is naturally reflective in all her lessons, thinking deeply about how her views may change or to ask further questions. Well done Amelia, you truly deserve this award.
