Giving students an opportunity to help build the Tiny Homes are a key and fundamental part of our community. Not everyone can be in the construction class, so we offer volunteering to those who aren't in the class to still help and participate in the house's construction!
Fun Fact: Many of the build team members are selected from past, frequent volunteers!
You get to be a part of an amazing process that builds a future home for homeless veterans
You can make lots of new and interesting friends as you work together on a project bigger than yourselves!
You get to learn life long skills like safety, and how to use lots of different tools!
This counts as volunteer hours for other clubs and curriculars like NHS or KEY Club
It looks great on a resume
It's a lot of fun and your guaranteed to learn something new and gain new memoires with friends!
You can volunteer for Tiny House! Volunteer days are Wednesday and Thursday from 3-4. We recommend bringing comfortable work clothes, with no hanging jewelry, hair, clothing, or open-toed shoes. No need to bring your own safety googles or tools, we provide those! We only accept a few volunteers per day so book in advance!
If you have any questions regarding volunteering, you can contact our volunteering coordinator, Mya Harrison or Mr. Martinez.
