Dean Hyman Memorial Scholarship

Requirements: 

1. Senior male or female

2. Involvement in agriculture, band, or athletics

3. GPA of at least 2.5

4. A brief essay detailing the reasons why you are applying for this award and why you believe you should be considered. Make comment regarding your involvement in high school co-extracurricular activities. Also, include general information in regards to financial need.

LM Scholarship Program

Requirements:

1. Currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September. 

2. A student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.

3. A student must be a United States resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.

Odenza Vacations College Scholarship

Requirements:

1) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st, 2024.

2) Submit an answer to the essay question, which can be found on the application page, prior to the May 1st, 2024 deadline.

3) Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.

4) Be a resident of the United States or Canada.

Culinary Institute of America Scholarship

Requirements: To be considered by the scholarship committee, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Be an exemplary student. Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Be a high school senior eligible to graduate the same year as the scholarship is applied for.

• Be currently accepted to the institution with a major in either culinary or pastry arts.

• Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef

Got a Spine Scholarship

Requirements:

1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2024.

2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2024.

3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.

4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.

5) Be attending a school in the U.S. or Canada by October of 2024.

6) Submit answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.

*Note that you can be enrolled in any field of study.

Tuolumne River Woodworkers Association Scholarship

Requirements: To be eligible to apply you must:

● Be a High School Senior in Stanislaus County

● Planning on attending a trade school, certification program, or college trade

program to pursue a career in the trades: Woodworking, Electrical, Plumbing, Engine Repair, HVAC, etc. in the fall immediately following graduation.

● Have a minimum High school GPA of 2.5

Steps for Change Scholarship

Requirements: 

To be eligible for The Steps for Change Scholarship, the applicant MUST:

• Be of legal status in the United States

• Be a current high school senior expecting to graduate in 2024

• Be in the process of applying to, or accepted to, a college or university

• Have a household income of less than $55,000*

• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5

Tonie Orozco Memorial Scholarship

Requirements: 

• Applicants must be an immigrant student from a non-English speaking country who came to school in the United States in middle school or later, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher OR made significant academic improvement throughout their high school career, must be planning to attend college or vocational school, and must have excellent citizenship.

• Recipients must attend Hughson High School to receive this scholarship.

Friends of the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival Scholarship

Requirements: The Friends of the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival Scholarship is offered to a graduating Hughson High School student.  Scholarship applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:  40% on academic achievement; 30% on school and community participation; 20% on essay completion and 10% on awards and honors received.

Ellevation Scholarship

Requirements: 

• Be a high school senior who has been enrolled as an English Language Learner (ELL) at some point during their K-12 education.

• Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four- year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2022-2023 academic year

Back and Better Scholarship

Requirements: 

• The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or two to five-year post-secondary institution for the upcoming 2024 school year.

• Employees of Groth & Associates, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the competition.

• Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

Kid's Chance of California Scholarship

Requirements: 

• Applicant must be between the ages of 16 – 25 years

• Applicant must be the child or legal dependent of a worker killed or seriously injured in a compensable work- related accident or occupational disease with a California employer

• Student applicant and/or deceased/injured worker are not required to be a legal resident of the United States

• Applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need

• Applicant must be enrolled, accepted or applying for acceptance as a full-time or part-time student at a university, college or technical school

Amount: Up to $15,000

B. Davis Scholarship 

Requirements: This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.

• There is no age restriction

• Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next

• This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.

Garage Gurus Scholarship

Requirements: 

The individuals must:

• At the time of application, be:

• Enrolled full-time at a U.S. high school; or

• Accepted/enrolled (full-time or part-time) at an accredited college, university or trade school within the U.S.

• Be in pursuit of an automotive technician degree or certification (or equivalent degree/certification)

• Carry a minimum 3.0 GPA

• Submit most recent transcript of all academic work

• Submit a completed application (this form – also found on garagegurus.tech)

• Submit two letters of recommendation (non-family members)

• Submit career goal story or video

• Be a legal resident of the United States, in the United States on a student Visa or a resident alien
