A brief essay detailing the reasons why you are applying for this award and why you believe you should be considered. Make comment regarding your involvement in high school co-extracurricular activities. Also, include general information in regards to financial need.

Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September.
2. A student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.
3. A student must be a United States resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.

Requirements:
1) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st, 2024.

4) Be a resident of the United States or Canada.

Requirements:
1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2024.
2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2024.
3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.
4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.
5) Be attending a school in the U.S. or Canada by October of 2024.
6) Submit answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.
*Note that you can be enrolled in any field of study.

Friends of the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival Scholarship
Requirements: The Friends of the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival Scholarship is offered to a graduating Hughson High School student. Scholarship applications will be evaluated on the following criteria: 40% on academic achievement; 30% on school and community participation; 20% on essay completion and 10% on awards and honors received.

Tonie Orozco Memorial Scholarship
Requirements:
Applicants must be an immigrant student from a non-English speaking country who came to school in the United States in middle school or later, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher OR made significant academic improvement throughout their high school career, must be planning to attend college or vocational school, and must have excellent citizenship.
Recipients must attend Hughson High School to receive this scholarship.

Requirements:
To be eligible for The Steps for Change Scholarship, the applicant MUST:
Be of legal status in the United States
Be a current high school senior expecting to graduate in 2025
Be in the process of applying to, or accepted to, a college or university
Have a household income of less than $55,000*
Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5

Requirements:
Applicant must be between the ages of 16 – 25 years
Applicant must be the child or legal dependent of a worker killed or seriously injured in a compensable work- related accident or occupational disease with a California employer
Student applicant and/or deceased/injured worker are not required to be a legal resident of the United States
Applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need
Applicant must be enrolled, accepted or applying for acceptance as a full-time or part-time student at a university, college or technical school

The individuals must:

• Be in pursuit of an automotive technician degree or certification (or equivalent degree/certification)
• Carry a minimum 3.0 GPA
