To apply, students must achieve a total cumulative GPA (3½ years) of at least 3.2 and meet one of the following:
Are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois and Nevada, only where Branches of the Federation are established; or,

Requirements: The Friends of the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival Scholarship is offered to a graduating Hughson High School student. Requirements:
- Must show proof of registration in a secondary education institution.
- Must be an FFA STATE FARMER or a 4-H EMERALD STAR or a PATHWAY COMPLETER
- FFA members must have been enrolled in agriculture classes for three years, including your senior year. This scholarship is only available to
seniors graduating from Hughson High School.
- 4-H member must be a member of 4-H for three years upon graduation from Hughson High School.
- This is a one-time scholarship. Must use scholarship the year after graduation.

- Must have completed all four years in the Hughson FFA program;

2. Must be enrolled in agriculture courses at Hughson High School for a minimum of two years.
