Problem Statement
In 2023 a survey was conducted in Wisconsin Hudson High School from current and former Track Athletes. 59.1% of responses said that it's a challenge to move hurdles. There awkward ,and simply too heavy to carry more than one at a time.
Problem Background
Why did we choose this? Because every year during Track season we are faced with moving the 110 hurdles out of storage and onto the track. They are awkward to handle and you can only carry one or two even if you consider yourself "Strong". So we are trying to find a better solution to this problem.
How do I connect to it? Both Evan and Taylor are in track and we despise moving hurdles because it takes too much time away when we could be training and practicing our events.

Validation of problem
Survey responses: Here are a few responses from a survey we made that validate our problem and stick out from the rest.
"Need a good way to fold up hurdles into each other for less storage space and quicker turnaround time during an event."
"The hurdles themselves are simply awkward and hard to carry. They are heavy in weird places and bang into your legs when carrying them."
"Getting a cart to move then or having more people move them."
"wheels or something that makes it easy to load, move, and keep them from falling off."

Mobile robot and conveyor belt
The drive system may be configured to move the mobile robot and position the conveyor system. The conveyor belt is operable to receive the item and move it down the conveyor belt.
Collapsible hurdle with quick reset
A hurdle has a crossbar and a pair of vertical legs. The hurdle is designed to give way or collapse when the crossbar is struck by a user to minimize the risk of injury and thereby decrease the user's fear of injury.
Quick-load merchandising for dividing, pushing and/or dispensing retail products
Further, the systems and methods have a movable track movably connected to the top side of the fixed portion. The movable track is movable to a closed position or to an extended position, wherein, when the movable track is moved to the extended position, forward movement of the pusher paddle is restricted by the front retainer teeth.
Portable Cone Laying Cart
The invention discloses a novel road cone laying vehicle, which comprises an L-shaped bracket, two front wheels, two rear wheels, two supporting plates, a power transmission mechanism, a road cone separating mechanism and a road cone placing mechanism.

Little Athletics Collapsible Hurdle
This is a collasible hurdle. The foldable feature is used to save space when in storage.
Lane Hurdle Carts
A cart specifically designed to carry static hurdles, holds up to 8 hurdles on one cart.
powered heavy duty industrial trolley
This is a 400kg rated trolley. It can help move heavy objects with ease. This cart is special because you don't have put in any effort to move it. It follows you wherever you push or pull.
Pez dispenser
Obviously this is a pez dispenser. The reason we chose this as one of our products is the way the candies come out of the cartridge. There is a spring pushing the candies and whenever you open the top it pops out. This could help us quickly unload hurdles from a cart.
