Annual Title I Family Meetings to be held in October
The Elementary and Middle Schools will be holding their annual meetings to discuss the Title I services being provided in each building in early October. More specific information will be sent home with the students.
Middle School
Title I Teachers are Mrs. Komlanc (reading) and Mr. Lanterman (math).
22-23 Informational Meeting will be October 4, 2022 at 8:30am in the cafeteria.
Elementary School
Title I Teachers are Mrs. Hillier (reading) and Mrs. VanSuch (reading).

Hubbard Elementary School - Third Grade Reading Guarantee Meeting

Purpose: This informational meeting is for parents/guardians of students in grade 3. We will be discussing the Third Grade Reading Guarantee (TGRG) as well as introduce the State Testing and resources for families.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held for grades K-12 on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Please be watching for information about signing up to have a conference with your child's teacher(s). This year parents/guardians will be able to sign up for conferences using a new online platform. More communication will be coming from each building about how to sign up.

RE: Public Hearing for Federal Funds
Due to the on-going concerns for face-to-face gatherings, this year the Public Hearing for Federal Funds will be recorded and posted on the district website. Anyone interested in reviewing the 2020-2021 federal programs as well as offering input on spending for the 2021-2022 federal funds is encouraged to view the presentation and offer feedback through the online form. The presentation will offer a review of the following federal programs in the Hubbard Exempted Village School District:

Reminders/Upcoming important dates:
Friday, March 12 is a District-wide Waiver Day - No School for students
Friday, March 19 Trumbull County Schools Vaccination Clinic - County-wide Remote Learning Day. No new work will be assigned nor will there be any virtual meetings held with students. Students should be using this time to complete previously assigned and/or make-up work, as needed.
Friday, March 26 - End of the Third Grading Period
Thursday, April 1 through Tuesday, May 4 - our window for spring testing in all buildings. Click here to see more specific details. Also, letters will be coming home explaining the process for testing this spring.

High School Students & Families:
Today only our Junior Class will be attending school in-person. We are completing the state sponsored administration of the ACT. Students in grades 9, 10 & 12 will be working remotely today. Be sure to reach out to the HS Office with any questions (330 534-1921 x2001 or x2002).

Welcome back! We are so excited to have our Face-to-Face Cohort groups coming back in a combined format for 4 days of weekly Face-to-Face Instruction.
Please don't forget on our weekly fully Remote Day (Wednesdays) teachers will still be holding office hours throughout the day and we will still have material exchange as needed for any full remote students.

Welcome back! As we return to school from the winter break, students will be returning under our Hybrid Model. Cohort A will be here for Face-to-Face (F2F) instruction Mondays & Thursdays while Cohort B will be here on Tuesdays & Fridays. Wednesdays will be a day of Full Remote Instruction for all K-12 students.
Please remember, on Full Remote Days the teachers do have "Office Hours" which we encourage all to join. Students are able join or reach out to their teachers throughout the day. Students are able to ask questions, get help on remote learning or just touch base with the teachers.

As we move to the Full Remote Learning Model, please remember that each of our teachers will be holding "Office Hours" to help students each day. Teachers will be holding “office hours” each day during Full Remote Learning Days. Teachers may hold their office hours virtually, by using a platform such as Google Meets or Zoom or they may choose to conduct their office hours via email and phone communications. Specific details and directions will be provided by the teacher on his/her website. The “office hours” will be a great time to get questions answered or get assistance from the teacher. Feel free to email or call their school extension as needed. They will get back to you during their office hours or sooner if possible. Also, if needed, you are able to reach out to the main office at each building for additional assistance.
