2022 Becraft Day Activities

Throughout the Day:

-Pay tribute to our Holly Destry. Ms. Destry was a spirited member of our House but, most importantly, a beloved member of our community. There will be a picture of Ms. Destry and a “post it prayer” box to write your prayers, memories, or thoughts outside the main office as well as in the nurse’s office for students and teachers. Please stop by to take a moment with her.

-Visit the Perseverance Stars banner (hung in LS under the TV on the ground floor) and nominate your own perseverance star (someone who has shown perseverance) using the provided sticky notes.

-Visit the Perseverance Meaning (hung in LS on the third floor), and read about/ add on to what perseverance means to you on sticky notes.

-Hunt down the colored otter puzzle pieces, and bring them to Mrs. DeFoor/Mrs. Calabrese for a House point. Remember to find the piece in your House color (only one puzzle piece per student)

During House time show perseverance with the following activities:

-Create an otter craft

-Water bottle flipping contest

-Human Knot

-Sudoku puzzles

-Pencil Perseverance

---Be sure to show perseverance all day (and everyday!). Teachers will have raffle tickets to give to students showing perseverance, which can be traded in for some otterly amazing prizes!
