Required Materials

Students are expected to attend rehearsals and lessons with the following:

1. Instrument, binder, lesson book, tuner/metronome combo (phone tuner apps are not permitted), pencils (mechanical pencils are most convenient) and a pencil case (exclusively to be kept in the band binder).

2. Lesson Book: Every band student will need a copy of Sound Innovations for Concert Band: Ensemble Development for Intermediate Concert Band.

3. A band supply list will be available on the HMS Band google site and will be shared out via email to all families. If you need supplies over the summer, please check our supply list below for equipment we recommend for HMS.

4. Students will also be required to purchase an HMS band t-shirt which will be worn for all concert dress rehearsals, Raider for a Day event in the fall, HHS Recruitment Day and HMS Band Community Spirit events!
